Can I place an order on the phone?

Yes. Call us during normal business hours toll free (888) 235-2400 to place a mail order for anything we sell. We ship to anywhere in the world.

How many stores do you have?

We have 2 locations in Southern California: One in Hollywood on Melrose Avenue (at La Brea) & one in the Valley on Reseda (at Nordhoff). For more info (and pictures) click on the "Contact/Store" page of our website.

Do you buy comics?

Yes...But we are really only looking for hot current products and old stuff (silver/golden age). Most of the time we will give store credit (trade) because we only give 25% of the books value in cash. Example: If you have a comic worth $100, you would get $25 cash or $40 credit..at best (depending on the quality and popularity of the comics). Also, if we already have the book in question, you will receive a lower amount.

When does ..

We answer this question on our "UPCOMING RELEASES" page of our website. Simply type in the name of the book and the date(s) the title is scheduled to will have an arrow next to it.

Can I pre-order books?

We take special orders with 50% deposit only. We carry most new comics and books, so you do not have to special order any mainstream title..we'll have it! However, if you like obscure stuff, please buy a previews book (Diamond Distributor Catalog) and let us know by the due date in the book and put down a deposit.

Did your Melrose store close or move?

WE MOVED! Our new store in Hollywood is still located on Melrose Avenue, but we moved to La Brea (formally near Fairfax). We are located on the S. E corner of Melrose & La Brea, across from Hot Wings (get em' spicy), Next door to Gallery 1988 (artsy) and caddy-corner from Pink's Hot Dogs (Yum-o).
